Terms of Use
These terms govern the Matton app, website and sharing service operated by RadioReformation, LLC (“Matton,” “we” or “us”). You must be legally able to accept them or have the permission and supervision required by law. Do not use sharing if you disagree. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. Apple’s applicable purchase and app-license terms also apply. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
1. Your cookbook and shared recipes
Your cookbook stays on your device by default. Optional iCloud Sync, backups and publication are separate choices. Publishing uploads a separate recipe and optional photo that anyone with the link can access, pass on and save. Recipe notes and section notes are excluded.
In the app, uploading happens before the share sheet opens. Cancelling it, editing your cookbook or deleting a local recipe does not remove a published copy. Publishing changed content creates a new link.
Where guest sharing is available, you may publish through ChatGPT without a Matton account or app. Review the recipe and selected or generated photo before authorizing publication. The same rules apply to all publishers.
2. Your content and permission to host it
You retain your rights in submitted content and must have authority to publish it. Importing, attribution or AI generation does not establish permission to republish text or photos. You are responsible for rights, accuracy and required disclosures. Matton does not verify ownership or guarantee that generated content is accurate or free of third-party rights.
Publishing grants Matton a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, format, display and distribute the content to operate and protect sharing, including through our providers. Recipients may view and save it for personal use through the service. You may grant only rights you hold or are authorized to grant.
This license lasts while we provide the content and for limited backup, security, dispute or legal retention described in our Privacy Policy. It gives us no separate right to sell your content or use it in advertising. Removing a link cannot recall saved copies.
3. Acceptable use
Do not submit unlawful or infringing material, threats, harassment, sexual exploitation, unauthorized private information, malware, spam or deceptive content. Do not impersonate others, bypass verification or limits, interfere with Matton or evade restrictions.
You are responsible for submissions; Matton does not endorse them or undertake to review them all. We may enforce limits, remove content or suspend connections and publishing for violations, suspected abuse, security, operational needs or legal requirements.
4. Removal and availability
Report concerns to dev@matton.app with the share URL and explanation; use the Copyright Policy for formal notices. We may require proof of authority for removal assistance.
Remove app publications through Shared Links; use the private removal link for guest publications. Anyone holding that private link can use it. Guest permissions expire or may be revoked; disconnecting does not remove publications. Losing both the valid connection and private link may prevent self-service removal.
We may change, limit or discontinue sharing, or remove content after inactivity or for reasons described here. We do not promise permanent hosting, uninterrupted access or recovery of removed content. Keep your own copy. Removal cannot recall others’ copies. Our Privacy Policy explains expiry and retention.
5. Purchases and other providers
Apple presents prices and renewal terms and processes purchases. Manage subscriptions and refunds through Apple, subject to your legal rights. ChatGPT, image providers and external sites have their own terms, charges, limits and privacy practices. Matton does not provide or sell image generation and is not responsible for those providers’ availability or output.
6. Service limitations
Matton and submitted recipes may contain errors or be unavailable. Check ingredients, allergens, cooking safety and instructions. Generated photos are illustrations and may not depict the actual result. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement.
To the extent permitted by law, RadioReformation is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or opportunities. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms, identify the effective date and provide notice of material changes and obtain agreement where required by law. Changes do not remove rights already accrued under applicable law.

Copyright Policy
Matton respects copyright and expects people using its sharing service to do the same. If you believe content hosted through Matton infringes your copyright, you or an authorized representative may send a report to dev@matton.app.
Submitting a copyright notice
A notice should include:
- Your physical or electronic signature as the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if several works on one site are involved.
- Identification of the material you believe infringes, with enough information to locate it. Include the specific Matton share URL and identify the text or photo concerned.
- Contact information sufficient to reach you, such as your address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Consider whether the use is authorized by law, including fair use, before sending a notice. We may request missing information. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may create liability under applicable law.
How we respond
We act expeditiously to remove or disable access to material identified in a compliant notice and take reasonable steps to promptly notify the person who submitted it. We also act when we obtain actual knowledge of infringement or become aware of facts that make infringement apparent. A takedown is not a court decision about ownership or infringement.
We may provide the notice and relevant contact information to the person who submitted the content as needed to handle the claim. Avoid including unrelated sensitive information. Notices and related records are handled under our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Submitting a counter-notice
If you believe content was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to dev@matton.app. Include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed or disabled material and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal or disabling resulted from a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number; a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district where your address is located, or, if outside the United States, any district where RadioReformation may be found; and a statement that you will accept service of process from the original notice sender or that person’s agent.
We will send a compliant counter-notice to the original notice sender. Where the DMCA counter-notice process applies, we will restore the material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice unless we first receive notice that the claimant has filed an action seeking a court order restraining the disputed infringement. This process does not override independent grounds for restricting content or guarantee recovery of a copy already deleted through ordinary expiry or removal. Keep your own copy. Consider legal advice before submitting a counter-notice because it includes consent to court jurisdiction.
Repeat infringement
We terminate access to the sharing service in appropriate circumstances for repeat infringers. We may also restrict publishing or remove content for serious violations. Attempts to evade a restriction violate the Terms of Use. This policy is implemented based on the circumstances and available information; it does not require a court ruling for every infringement report.
