This Matton policy is based on RadioReformation's broader company privacy practices. You can also review the parent-company policy at radioreformation.com/privacy.
Scope
This policy applies to Matton pages and services that link to it, including the Matton website, waitlist, beta communications, support messages, app experiences, and related services.
RadioReformation's broader policy may also apply to company-level operations, vendor management, security, billing, business communications, and services outside Matton.
Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use Matton.
- Waitlist and contact details, such as email address, optional role, beta interest, message content, and related communication history.
- Technical and security data, such as IP address, hashed IP values, referrer, timestamps, browser or device details, logs, diagnostics, and abuse-prevention signals.
- Recipe and cookbook content you choose to submit, import, save, organize, sync, export, or send to Matton-supported features.
- Account, authentication, billing, or subscription details if Matton later offers account-based, paid, or hosted features.
- Support information, attachments, troubleshooting details, and correspondence when you contact us.
How we use information
We use information to provide, secure, support, maintain, improve, and communicate about Matton. This includes operating the waitlist, sending beta or launch updates, responding to requests, preventing abuse, troubleshooting issues, maintaining records, analyzing product reliability, enforcing terms, and complying with law.
We do not use Matton information for purposes that are materially inconsistent with providing the service, protecting security, improving the product, meeting legal obligations, or honoring contractual commitments.
Recipe content and imports
Matton is built around recipes, cookbooks, grocery lists, meal planning, and cooking workflows. If you choose to save, import, sync, submit, or share recipe content through Matton, we may process that content to provide the feature you requested.
When you import from a recipe website or open a third-party link, that third party may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address, device details, and requested URL. Third-party sites are governed by their own privacy practices.
Cookies and service technologies
Matton and RadioReformation may use cookies, local storage, server logs, session data, and similar technologies to run the website, submit forms, protect against abuse, keep services reliable, remember settings, and understand technical performance.
If third-party tools are used for hosting, monitoring, email, payments, support, or other service operations, those tools are used to provide or protect Matton rather than to sell your data.
AI-enabled features
If Matton offers AI-assisted features, such as recipe cleanup, transcription, summarization, organization, or metadata generation, those features may process the content you choose to submit to them.
AI processing is used to provide the requested feature. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, regulated, or trade-secret information to an AI feature unless you are authorized to do so and have decided that feature is appropriate for that content.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers and vendors that help us host, operate, secure, monitor, support, communicate about, bill for, or improve Matton.
We may also share information when needed for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, business transfers, enforcement of agreements, protection of rights, or when you direct us to share information through a feature or integration.
Advertising and marketing
Matton may send service, waitlist, beta, product, security, administrative, and support communications. We may send marketing communications where allowed by law, and you can opt out of marketing messages.
RadioReformation does not sell customer data to advertisers. If Matton uses advertising or sponsorship tools in the future, those practices should be disclosed before they are made available.
Data hosting and location
RadioReformation operates from the United States and may use its own infrastructure plus third-party providers for hosting, storage, monitoring, communication, support, payment, AI, and related service operations.
If you use Matton from outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or other places where RadioReformation or its service providers operate.
Retention, export, and deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide Matton, support users, keep records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain backups, protect security, and complete required business operations.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information that RadioReformation maintains about you. We may retain or limit certain information where allowed or required for security, legal, financial, backup, contractual, reporting, or legitimate business reasons.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. These may include access controls, secure authentication, monitoring, backups, vendor review, contractual protections, and security incident response procedures.
No internet, hosting, storage, or processing system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your devices, accounts, passwords, backups, and any third-party services you connect to Matton.
Security incidents
If we become aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and respond based on the nature and scope of the event. Where required, we will provide notice to affected parties or regulators.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights such as requesting access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, appeal, or opt out of certain communications or disclosures.
To exercise rights related to Matton or a direct relationship with RadioReformation, contact privacy@radioreformation.com. We may need to verify your identity or authority before completing a request.
U.S. state and international rights
Some U.S. state privacy laws and international privacy laws may provide additional rights. Where those laws apply, RadioReformation will honor legally required rights and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
When RadioReformation acts as a service provider or processor for customer-controlled data, requests may need to be handled by the customer that controls the relationship.
Children's privacy
Matton is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for our own business purposes. If we learn that we collected information from a child in a way that violates applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete or handle it.
Third-party services and links
Matton may link to or interact with third-party websites, services, app stores, payment processors, analytics tools, email platforms, support tools, AI providers, recipe websites, or other technologies. We are not responsible for privacy practices of third parties we do not control.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in Matton, RadioReformation services, technology, vendors, legal obligations, or business practices. When we update it, we will revise the effective date above.
